Conforming everyone does it

Okay so I'm really confused about this whole "Conforming" crap.
How can one sit there and say they dont conform? when others out there say that to...so doesnt that mean they conform to not conforming?
say if the person who says they are different because they like different music and are vegetarians..they are conforming too arent they? I mean being a vegetarian mean you obey the whole "i wont eat meat" stuff isnt that conforming to the vegetarian group?
And the listening to different music...other people listen to that music to so doesnt that mean they conform to that group who say they are different cause they listen to different music?
Technically everyone conforms, everyone says they are their own persons and are unique in there own way..
These people are obviously trying to be different and saying they are...Isn't that also conforming to the group that doesn't want to conform?

I know what ive written doesn't make much sense and boy it sounded alot better in my head..
