Just because I'm behind the counter, I shouldn't have to kiss your ass.

So today, I went into work after not working for like 2 weeks and was told that I had to complaints about me.

I was like WTF?

and they told me about who complained and about what.
It wasn't really my fault I might have sounded 'rude.' they walked into the place and were like giving me attitude when all I was doing was ringing them up.

One lady called to complain because there was no money in her account and I told her that and she like freaked out at me because she thought I was lying.

The other guy was returning a CD that he said had a scratch on it and I opened it too check and the CD was perfectly fine so I said casually that it looked fine.
So he calls later to tell the manager that I made him feel like an idiot or something.
Well I'm sorry that the guy probably bought the thing put it on his computer and returned it.
Am I right, or am I just over reacting?
