Compositional Names/ideas/whatever.

I really don't expect anyone to answer this, but I'm really really desperate now. Okay so I have a composition due by the end of these holidays. Level 1 NCEA music. Grr.
I don't even have a criteria to follow. All I know that it needs to have structure [which it does,] It needs to have contrast and development.

So: the thing I wrote is based on pentatonic scale. So it's all asiany and oriental. I originally named it 'you xi' after the river/area/place in China where my mum's side of the family came from. Ncea will not accept it. Because apparently it does not sound like a river.
I know.. it's really hard to ask for name suggestions if you've never heard the piece before, so I'm not really asking for that,

But I would like to know, how do you name your songs?
especially when it's instrumental music. How do you find a name that will fit and still sound catchy and etc.?

Ideas please? I'm really stuck. T_T
