Survivor: Band Camp (Day One: August 3rd, 2009)

God, today was awful.

But it was great at the same time, you know?

It started off great; I had this really awesome dream about these really hot twins I found on Mibba. We were talking, and they magically appeared at my house with these redhead triplet chicks. We wanted to eat some ice cream, but somehow couldn't figure out how to get the tub open...

Anyway, I woke up by myself, magically. Got everything ready, clothes, sunscreen, food, blah blah blah. Lucky for me, it wasn't raining today so I had no reason to feel stupid.

Anyway, when we got outside it wasn't too hot at first, as it was only about eight a.m. We stretched and stuff (trust me, not fun to pull a muscle when you're marching. Not only will it hurt you, but you'll throw the band off really bad.) Anyway, they put us through a few drills (left hase, about hase, right box, left box, etc)

It was so hot. Today was silly sock day(I don't understand; we didn't have anything like that last year) and I felt sorry for all the people wearing those tall socks (especially the drum majors and flags). Well, anyway, we got a five minute water break, then went back to our marching. (If I hear someone say Backgate Hut one more time, pain will be inflicted.)

It was the first time I ever wondered whether you could kill someone with a flute. I mean seriously, we had like five minutes to go, it's God-only-Knows how many degrees Fahrenheit outside, and I know THIS IS THE ARMY, MR JONES/NO PRIVATE ROOMS OR TELEPHONES (If you did not understand this reference, go on Youtube and type in This Is the Army. It's a really old musical. Well, movie ABOUT a musical. But it's still funny) but can't you have some pity? I finally ended up going and sitting down. Dizziness+Heat+Backache= not good.

But, all the same, I'm looking forward to tomorrow. Maybe I'll do better.
