Beckley, West Virginia?

Anyone been there? Know anything about it? Live there? I'm writing a new story, and I'm pretty sure that I want the setting to be Beckley after doing some internet research, but I've never been to West Virginia and I don't know anything about it. Any help through messages or comments either here or on my profile would be much appreciated!
