she was friends with the "golden trio" but not as close as they were. she had a major crush on harry even though she knew that he could never have the same feelings for her. so, she was content with staying his friends and just talking. (btw, no one in the book, that i love dies) in her sixth year, everyone disappeared, and she was left alone and unhappy. after graduating hogwarts, she started training to be an auror. (in my story, it takes 2 years training to become an auror, 1 year learning the ropes and training like fighting and learning how to protect herself, the second year is to be spent with an auror, to have the hands on experience and an idea of what being an auror is really like.)
