banners

Does anyone know how to post banners on your stories because I am totally confused on how to do that.I see a lot of people with their stories and they have banners on them so I should be able to do mine.

Also does anyone want to be in my writing contest. Everytime I post a writing contest everyone seems to steer clear of mine like they are crap and go to everyone elses. I would really appreciate if anyone wants to join. I will extend the days so everyone has a chance to write a story. Okay,does that sound good?Thanks again.
