Watching her burn away

She used to be the smiling bubbly girl that we all loved,
now her hearts broken and shes lost that spark, shes lost her smile.
All because one asshole knocked her down and told her she was worthless
Seeing her in such a state is unbearable, shes my best friend and all I can do is hold her till her tears run dry.
I dont want to see her like this ever again.
I just want to built a fort and keep her away from everyone that hurts her, I want that guy to leave and never come back.
She doesnt understand how someone can say they love you and then tell you that your worthless,
she doesnt realise that the person presenting those words was just a jerk and doesnt know what shes worth to everyone else
I love her and I never want to see her cry again <3
