Seriously, if even Maine, one of the most liberal states in the country, can't give equal rights, what hope is there for us as LGBT supporters?

If NOM and similar organizations have only the argument that gay marriage will "threaten the sanctity of marriage" and they can't even clearly define how, how the hell are they winning?!
