Recommend me some stories?

Ok, so I happen to have been very bored as of late. Any chance I could get some recommendations from you Mibbians? But there's a few conditions, I'm afraid xP

- You can only recommend stories not written by yourself

- Nothing NC-17, if you catch my drift

- Original fiction only, please. And I'd rather stay away from vampires.

- It must have both good writing and a good plotline (...and a layout that doesn't kill my eyes)

It can be on here, or even fictionpress or another writing site. Slash and all that is fine, but I'm not reallly a fan of too much romance, angst, and/or horror. I quite like adventure, action, and fantasy ^_^

So yeah...any good reads you'd like to tell me about? If you don't mind, could you put a link to the author or story too?
