Just Sayin '- Girls in Adventure Novels

I've been wondering, but doesn't it seem like those girls don't worry about anything...girl-ish? I mean like when their legs get hairy or armpits get junglish. I'm just saying (haha).

Also, what if they're on their periods?! I don't know about you, but I'd seriously feel absolutely horrible if that happened. But you know, something like that never happens. Even though it'll say, like, "After three years" or "After two months", what do they do about their monthly present?

I can see why they don't worry too much about personal hygiene and stuff when you're fighting for your life, but if you'd like to know "Aunt Flo" can really make you weak and you might get sick too.
