I am a teenage girl, and yes, I am a Twi-hard.
However, I am NOT nearly as mindless as the general media (and most male bloggers/critics) make me out to be.
It IS time for something for the teenaged girls that isn't covered in pink and scrunchies. So what if the movie left something to be desired? We like it. It's one of our greatest passions, put on film.
We don't wrinkle our nose and whine and blog ourselves into oblivion when something as sexist, dim-witted, half-baked and teenage boy-centered as I Love You, Beth Cooper or Napoleon Dynamite comes out, so Twilight critics really should go play in traffic. Blindfolded.
