Guy + girl= love, unless there's variable A...

I read an article (not on here, another one off of the web) that says science dictates who you fall in love with. Does anyone else find that a load of crap? Yeah, sure, there's endorphins and such, but I mean, when you first look at that guy or girl and your heart races and your palms get all clammy and you forget your own name, is that scientific? Is there a way to study that and monitor it and put it down as variables in a notebook? If you can show me a scientific equation showing how the heart chooses it's suitors, then I will eat my words. But until then, I choose to believe that love, faith and hope don't depend on numbers and hypotheses. End rant. x)
