I read this while on mibba.

I read this while on mibba. Being Christian, this is something that I thought would be great to communicate to other believers:

"Why do we sleep in church,
but when the ceremony is over we suddenly wake up?
Why is it so hard to talk about God,
but so easy to talk about secks?
Why are we so bored when we look at a Christian magazine,
but find it easy to read Playboy?
Why is it so easy to ignore a Godly myspace message,
Yet we repost the nasty ones?
Why are churches getting smaller,
But bars and clubs are growing?
Think about it, are you going to repost this?
Are you going to ignore it, cause you think you'll get laughed at?
Just remember God is always watching you.
The Lord said: "If you deny me in front of your friends, I will deny you in front of my father".
90% of you won't repost this"

I almost didn't. Not because I'd rather read a playboy magazine though, I just didn't feel like it. I shouldn't keep myself up this late at night.

1) Admit it, none of us are perfect. I'm not perfect; your not perfect. We have all either stolen or lied or looked at someone outside of marriage with some lust, maybe its a little porn or masturbating here and there. Maybe you are a little rebellious to your parents or breaking the rules they place to protect you cause it's too restricting. No big deal, right?

2) God however is sinless and perfect, and we, being sinful, are separated from Him, damned to spend the rest of our lives lonely, and our afterlife in anguish. Ouch.=[

3) However, there is a way out of this mess. In His perfect love, God sends a part of himself, his only begotten son, to pay the penalty. Jesus Christ, as He is commonly known, becomes flesh and willingly takes this punishment for you and I. The best part is that after the third day, he rose from the dead and lives on today. He is the first who is resurrected. After around 500 witnesses, He ascends up to the Father, and sits on His right side.

4) Jesus said "For God so loved the world, that He gave his only begotten son, that who ever believes in him will never perish, but have everlasting life." Father God let his son suffer, so that we could get a second chance, and a third, and a fourth, etc. Sacrifice your precious own, so that a few terribly flawed individuals, such as my pathetic self, would possibly get saved from the eternal destruction we deserve? Who else in their right mind would do that? None other than Him. To be saved, we need to ask God for forgiveness of our sins, and then put our trust in Him. All in the name of Christ Jesus, who died for me.
