Septum Piercing?

I've been thinking about getting a septum piercing. I've been thinking about it for a while... A few months at least. I hadn't said anything about it 'til last weekend to my friends and half of them are unsure about that and the other half say I will look horrible with one. My boyfriend hasn't said if he would like it or not really. He just said he would want to play with it which I do not want him to do.

My mom didn't seem to have much an opinion on it.

I'm not too sure about it right now because I am not sure what it would look like on me.

Any thoughts?
