Just let me look at your damn iPod!

So I was at a friend's house the other day with a bunch of friends. This one guy, Stephen, we're really tight and all, and he had his iPod out, but he wouldn't let me look at his music.

Now I don't know if he thought I was going to judge him on his musical taste or such, but that's not why I wanted to check out what songs he had. I know a few people who are totally prejudiced when it comes to musical tastes, and I'm sure he had some embarrassing stuff in that tiny blue nano of his, but I really don't give a shit.

'Cause frankly, when I look at peoples' iPods, I'm just looking for a new artist to listen to. Screw musical taste, screw comparing or insulting songs... I just love finding new music to jam to.

It livens things up, you know?

Seeing as this is quite possibly the most pointless journal in the world... I'll make it even more pointless.

My iTunes to-buy list has surpassed 300 songs -- yes, I buy my music -- and I'm dismayed, because I know once I buy all those, there will be 300 more to take their places.

Like right now, I just found that elusive song from that one McDonald's commercial, with the guy who is "studying" and thinks about big macs. (I think it's only played in Canada.) Blue Steel by Bot'Ox! I found you! :D

Yeah. Have you ever heard a song on the radio/television and just had to find out who it was by? What song? :]
