Thought of today --- Belief.
Today my mind wondered about belief.
I couldn't get this thought out of my head.
People today believe in all sorts of things like Gods, love, ghosts, peace, Satan, reincarnation etc.
" Anything is possible if you just believe."
Come on ... when I have those moments where I truly believe I can do something and think to myself that it must be possible I believe ... It fails.
Maybe we belief in things so all the bad things in the world won't look so bad.
For example :
I believe in true love ~ Because deep inside I don't want to end up all alone.
I believe in world peace ~ Because I don't want innocent people to be killed all over the world.
I believe in life after death ~ Because I don't want my body and soul to be closed underground in a box.
My friend asked me today and I quote, "isn't belief just a state of mind?"
I refused to even think about it, because I am I believer myself.
I sometimes doubt my believes like love. Above all things I believe in love and peace.
Why? I don't even have a clue. I believe that one day people will realize that war and fighting don't solve any problems.
Men willingly believe what they wish.
