February 10, 1981- December 28, 2009

What can I say about you, Jimmy? You were an amazing fucking drummer, you really were. You were absolutely out of your mind, you always brought smiles to our faces with your car raps and crazy dance moves... and throwing beer in your face to freak someone out. You inspired a lot of people to get into music. You inspired a lot of people to live.

You were so dedicated to your family and your friends, and your music. I feel like shit because I never got to meet you and thank you in person, but I guess this is my chance now. Thank you so much, Reverend, for just being your crazy self. And thank you for loving your fans, and never once letting us down.

Rest in peace, baby. You will be missed, but you will never be forgotten.

It just pisses me off so badly. I didn't really care about the other deaths of 2009 (as bad as that sounds, or whatever), but this one hit me hard right in the heart. Jimmy was one of my role models, one of my idols. He was only twenty-eight years old. He had his entire life ahead of him, and it was taken from him just like that. It's deaths like this that freak me the hell out. Because I'm only eighteen, but I could be taken just as easily as him. It really puts a lot of things into perspective.

Once again before this turns into an even longer rant, RIP Reverend Tholomew Plague.
