Leaving for a while and the comment revolution

I will be going away tomorrow to have a long weekend visiting a friend. I'm really looking forward to it as he happens to live 1019.67 miles away. Yeah Norway stretches far.
It will be weird to spend new years away from home, even stranger I will be celebrating with a total unknown family. That's kind of scary as I have only a vague idea of what to expect.
Also did I mention that the temperature can go up til 25 Celsius under the freezing point. I have packed warm clothes but I still suspect that I might die because of the cold...
