James Owen Sullivan// February 10,1981- December 28,2009

Our hearts are heavy with the news that shocked the Avenged Sevenfold community James Owen Sullivan has left us. He left us with a contagious laugh and a lasting impression. Most would say he was the world’s greatest drummer that is because hewas is the best.

I’ve may have not been a fan very long like most but I was still there when Waking the Fallen came out.

To be honest I fucking broke down, I just couldn’t and still can’t believe it. Not even an hour ago I walked the mourning streets of Huntington Beach and I can see that manny people are affected by the news. My deepest condolences to the family, his brothers [Matt, Johnny, Brian, and Zacky]. Especially Leana

In addition, to the fans I know a lot of you are thinking about quitting writing but do not. To quote Shannen’s twitter page. ” We all cannot stop writing all together. It may hurt us but Jimmy would not want us to give up our dreams. Because he died. We are the reason he loves playing music, and he is one of the reasons We write.”
