What is it like in America?

I really, really would like to know. I have these different thoughts. Most of the time I talk about my country and ask what everyone thinks of it. But now I want to ask - what is it like in America? I suppose, living in such a small country we do know lots of stuff about you, and there's fifty states. So, tell me which state you come from and what it's like to live there. I have a feeling it's very different to what I suspect. :)

To me, I have seen, I guess you could say, the bad side of America. I've seen that movie, you know, Supersize Me. I've seen the World Trade Center. I watch documentaries on your country...the list could go on. These are just examples...but I know that this isn't all America. So, change my thoughts. Tell me what you guys are about. Please?
