Any Chinese people around??

My mum and I have decided to go to Shanghai for the World Expo 2010, which is gonna be freaking awesome and I really can't wait.

But I wanna be prepared for it, I'm from mexico so it's far far away (no we don't use sombreros and eat beans all the time) People tell em that Shanghai is a very cosmopolitan super cool city, and I wanna know stuff about it. I wanna visit the coolest places and I'd love to see a truth buddhist temple, though I ain't sure if shanghai follow that certain line... I've been reading lots on buddhism, so I'd really love to find a community over there, or even a temple.
