Am I Back?

I've been apart of the mibba community for...what is it... four years now? I've been on hiatus for a long time however because of life issues and just a lack of want to be on here.

I was debating whether to come back or not.

Is Mibba still about writing? Because lately all I've been seeing is people using this site as a "myspace" sort of deal. Is my work going to be appreciated like it was in the past? I mean, when I was on here, no one even knew what a "mibba" was at my school, and now everyone and their brother has an account. It's kind of disappointing because I miss the privacy of having my own place to thrive, but there is nothing I can really do about that...

Anyway, enough rambling.

Anyone want to give reasons an aspiring writer/photographer/musician should stick with mibba and start submitting more things? Assure that she'll get acknowledgement and be entertained by other aspiring artists on this site with their writing and other work?

And just make other profound friends? (:
