The wallflower fell from the wall. If it's to hard to hang on....let go.

No way to know
what would've happened.
No way to be sure,
but lots of reasons to doubt it would've
all worked out.
We even had the time we had
and would only be together for the rest of it.
I wish we could've left it there
before it all changed.
I wish I could have held onto this before
I knew anything else.
I understand now
that those were different times
and I'm glad these are different times too.

Remembering all these things that are proof we once were
They wouldn't have happened
if I didn't mean something
Must hole onto these things
even when thet make things seem so incomplete
