I am a consumer ***! (And how!)

Non sequitur, but: discovering Vegan Gourmet cream cheese totally made my day last Wednesday. And spreading it on both halves of a bagel, covering one half with basil and the other with oregano, and adding Tofurkey cold cuts? Yummmm.

Anyway! I stopped by the SPCA Friday on a whim and discovered the best dress ever. It's a black-on-white check fabric, square neckline, inch-wide straps, hits just above the knee, with a short slit over one thigh topped with a black decorative frog. Very femme fatale. It fits like a glove except that it's a little tight under the arms (I have broad shoulders for my height, which I play up at every opportunity -- I'm told they make many a queer woman swoon XD), which is easily fixed with gussets. I also found a sparkly dove-gray swingy shrug-type thing with giant buttons for G, and a slouchy purple tunic/dress thing with pockets -- who that's for depends on whether it fits G or not. XD

Also, I've just discovered lulus.com. I'm in love. I might even love it more than ModCloth. They even have a "vegan friendly" category for shoes! (I did notice they had a pair of silk flats listed as vegan friendly, though -- it wasn't even raw silk, so, yeah, that's not vegetarian, let alone vegan.)
