Valentines Day. Its lovely right? I prefer to call it Single Awareness Day. Why? Because on Valentines Day if your single, everybodys gonna know. Like me for example. Wanna know what I did on Valentines Day? I volunteered for 5 hours at a local shelter and after that, went on a run. Now there are two reasons that I spent my day like that.
1. I don't believe in the holiday that they call Valentines. Its named after some saint who I could give a crap less about and I refuse to celebrate it by expressing excessive amounts of love.
2. Im single.
This is mostly because I think dating is pointless. I like independence and any idiot whos gonna treat me disrespectfully is not worth my time. Even if he did get me flowers... Which he didn't.
So this gets us ready for the next holiday; Easter. . .which I don't believe in either. :)
