Vampire Diaries Story?? Help?

Alright so I made the mistake of commenting to my friend Danny that I was reading a cool story of Damon Salvatore on mibba and that it made me think how you can do a good job even with something very cliche, anyway she went all "WRITE ME A STORY ABOUT DAMON!!!"

And yeah, so now I ought to do just that, which believe me is a challenge for me cos I really don't like the series though I think he is very hot and I'd like to see if I can do something cool with it.

So people can you summarize the vampire diaries story for me? Like just tell me what is the main stuff going on.

I already have the title and some basic ideas

Its gonna be called "Saigne moi" which means something like Bleed me, but french is sexy and make it look smart XDD

So anyway help me out I have lots of experience on the vampire subject just not with this particular story
