I could use some help, concerning my story...

Alrightie. :) Why hello there.

Please forgive me if this comes out a little disorganized. :/

I, Cokeaholic, am writing this story November in the Seventh (check it out if you're bored) and I LOVE my story to death and would never give up on it, but...

I want to start over. I mean, I haven't updated for almost 4 weeks now; of course that's because I'm half busy, half lazy. I don't really have a lot of time, and the time that I do have, I just don't really prefer writing then. And internet writing has taken its toll on my novel, which kinda pisses me off, because that's my true baby, and it's suffering from being ignored.

I'm 17 chapters in, but I wouldn't mind doing it all over again, because I hate poor quality. Also, I've reworked the plot a lot (to shorten it and cut out some outrageous, unnecessary drama) and I want to move a major part in the story (that I've already written; chapter 10/11 something) to a much more appropriate time. And it needs to be a little more fast paced. Things haven't REALLY picked up since the last chapter (or at least I think so).

I have 38 subscribers, and 145 readers (though I don't really think they should be counted as 'readers'; I would know: I read the summaries of stories and leave almost immediately after, no matter how good of a story it is).

QUESTION: Should I do it?

I think it'll come out better, but I'm also considering holding it off until the summer again, when I have real time. Which, as my major story, could leave me more time to work on my novel; poor thing is dying for attention.
