Any tips for moving along flexibility?

I'm in dance and have been for a long time. A lot of aspects of my flexibility are very good, but my hips are incredibly closed and tight. I can't even sit in a pretzel, or indian style. It's very stressful and I believe that if I can open my hips the rest of my flexibility will come with it. I also think my hips are prevented my ability to do the side splits.

I've searched for ways to open my hips, but haven't really found much. I think if I acutally talked to someone with the same problem or who had had the same issues, the stretches they did will actually work for me.

Please, if anyone knows any tips or stretches, tell me. I will love you forever. It will honestly change my life. Really, I'll actually be able to sit comfortable on the floor for once, haha. :)
