SOUNDWAVE.

So Soundwave was on the 20th of Feb, and oh my god it was amazing. This was mine and my sisters first trip without our Mum, which seems lame considering our age, but she just always comes because she likes the bands. ANYWAY, it was so liberating being so independant. We went down the day before, so we could shop and hang out and stuff. Our hotel room was amazing, it's this really awesome hotel group called Oaks that have tons of hotels all over Aus. They're like luxury and aren't even that expensive. :D

Anyway, some awesome people took our photo next to this blowup astronaut in the shopping centre. I'm the one at the back. :D


Aaaand, the next day our other friend arrived at like 6am, and slept for a bit but we got up pretty early. Made breakfast, got ready and then went to Soundwave. There were a few mishaps, like a friend leaving early who wasn't really into it, me having EXTREMELY sore and blistery feet, getting crushed in the Taking Back Sunday mosh, which scared the hell out of all of us because we usually stand at the back where it's not so squished. We got out of there SO fast. But it was still awesome, we ended up seeing...

The Creepshow, Taking Back Sunday, Alexisonfire, Paramore, Placebo, Anthrax, Trivium, The Almost, and A Day to Remember.

The best were by far Paramore and The Almost. Paramore drew in one of the biggest crowds that day I reckon and everyone was so nice and we met a super nice couple, the chick was really drunk but she got on her boyfriends shoulders and took some photos for us. :D

The Almost were REALLY intimiate, not a lot of people showed up for their set, but it was better that way. Aaron is such a great entertainer, he was like "Hey, Jesus loves you, and if you aren't into that then that's cool, but just know that he does", I'm not religious AT ALL, but I thought it was nice. :)

Bought a t-shirt too. It's awesome. I never realised how sad I was about My Chemical Romance pulling out though until after. :(
