a song I've been working on

It's not done yet, but tell me what you think so far..I know that this should be posted in the poems section but It's not done yet. When It's completely finished I'll post it there.

They say never give up
I say persistence is a curse
quit where your at
before you make things worse
I know a thing or two about losing

never been one for cliches
always been one for making mistakes
pretty words don't mean a thing
when your flat on your face

I know a lot about hoping
don't know a lot about love
I neever seem to pay attention
spend all my time lookin up

I guess you could call me a dreamer
or you can call me what I really am
a broken hearted girl
who doesn't give a damn
