what kind of people do you like to read about?

I'm thinking of characters. And I'm wondering what you think are 'cool' supernatural powers. Something like mind reading or seeing the future, you know?

Lately, I've been having trouble writing about 'normal people'. People like you and me. I love reading about supernaturals and that kind of thing. "When you get tired of your life, get sucked into someone elses." Thats what someone always tells me. I want to write about someone so different from me, yet have the same traits or personality as me or you.

I want to know what your opinion is, what kind of power, and what kind of person, do you like to read about?

Are they like elves, (odd example, I know) with coloured skin and cat like eyes? Or are they normal on the outside with a crazy life that they hide from everyone. Or are they normal when people are around and then turn into a dragon. Hahaha. I'm laughing outloud.
