Pathetic?

Is it pathetic counting down the hours of how long someone has texted you? Well a certain person. Okay call me pathetic or desperate but I've been waiting for a text since 8 o'clock this morning. Haha for some reason I thought he would want to talk to me. He texted me around 2 o'clock, what did it say? "ttyl" okay yeah like I need a 4 letter abbreviation to tell me that. I'm getting so fed up with this, I just dont know what to do (refering to "I can't decide entry") Arg, I hate waiting, I know I sound so lame and stupid, I myself can't believe I'm even acting like this. Two years ago, I would be the one laughing and saying get over it to someone like me at the moment. Two years ago I wouldnt be wasting my time waiting for my text signal to pop up or for my ring tone to play. Haha its like I'm under a curse! But in some sick twisted way, I'm happy?
