I spent a lot of time with therapists because my parents thought twenty "millionyearsinparentheses" meant I was holding feelings in, that blue "robininmylungs" meant I wanted to kill myself.

My dad never wanted me to be a writer. He thinks being a poet is stupid. He tells me that all the poets are dead, and i'm not one of them.
He tells me the era of poets passed, and i should do something productive with my life.

But he lives inside of me.
