Do dogs sense their owner's emotions?

Hello to the world of mibba.
I have a question...
Is it possible for dogs to pick up and imitate their owner's emotions/actions?
My youngest pet is eating less, but drinking more water. I've been doing this for quite some time, since I cannot stomach food very well right now... Do you think my dog might be imitating my emotions? I'm very worried about her and love her dearly. I want to find out any possible ways to fix this.
I haven't been eating breakfast or lunch for a month or two, she hasn't been eating properly for a few weeks. So I'm a bit doubtful as to whether it is her sensing my emotions, or if she is seriously sick. I'd love advice/input on the matter.
