Ever written a story where you get a lot of subs and views but no comments? [Rant-ish and Shameless promotion ;D ]

I feel like, I'd rather have comments expressing how my readers feel about the storyline than just "silent readers" as I like to call them. Yes, its true you read and subscribed, but I would like to know what you liked about the story that made you keep reading and want to subscribe. It's just one of those things, you know? Comments are the easiest way to tell someone how you feel, so why not? I know personally, I'd rather see comments than just a large reader count. Because somehow, I feel that people don't have anything to say if they just read and don't leave feedback. When I finish reading a story, I make sure to comment and tell the author just what I liked or did NOT like about it, in a nice way of course =] So, since I'm feeling down hearted about my few comments, I'm going to shamelessly promote my newest story. It's about a boy who was murdered for his homosexuality...well just read it. It's hard to explain. =]
