Clock strikes 4:56 A.M.

Tick, tock, tick, tock.

Tock, tick, tock, tick.

There's a clock over there, there, and up the roof.

When you try to look up, it may go "Poof!"

Are you seeing things? You ask yourself.

Well, of course not, since you hear the tickings loud and clear.
Plus, you saw a clock on the roof, and over and everywhere!

Tick, tock, tick, tock.

Ding, Dong, Ding, Dong!

It just stroke the number 5, which means it is 5 A.M. not a second too soon, not a second too late.

A belated Ding, Dong hears in the distance. Then an echo of that over up on the roof.

Tick, tock, tick, tock.

It's still ticking and now it's full view. You cock your head to the side and that's the cue.

This clock is wrong, because it's still on 5 o' clock.

Since, now, it's 5:03.

But, it keeps on ticking and ticking and ticking.

Along with the other echoes that follow it's mimicking.

An entry about clocks ticking. There you go. It could be classified as a drabble, but you know what? Oh well.
