joined in 2007 and haven't been back since

I joined Mibba back in 2007 and enjoyed reading all the stories-I think I basically only came on for the fanfiction <3 really. However, high school and life got in the way and I soon forgot about Mibba. Though a friend's encouragement I've decided to pick it back up, read some stories, add a few of my own. Hopefully it'll be great fun! :D

Since I'm new on here I'm not really sure where to start looking for some good reading. I don't really like fanfiction much these days, but I do love me some historical, mystery, silly, and/or cheerful stories. So, fellow Mibba-ers ..(?), what stories do you suggest to get me started in my reading? :D
