El espíritu de la colmena

I have just recently seen "El espíritu de la colmena". It was anamzing film, I must say. I enjoyed the fact that it was told from a child’s point of view. It was a film I don’t think I could ever fully understand, but I am sure it will never move from its place in my top 5 favorite movies. Even if it was not in English, I think Spanish made the movie more attractive and real.

For those of you who have seen it, what did you think of it? Who was your favorite character? Mine was Ana, though I enjoyed Isabelle too.
