I thought I'd make this journal because there has been an increasing amount of people posting on the request a layout thread in the forums section lately.
The things is, when people just ask for a 'band name' layout, or a 'person' layout or a 'theme' layout, it's extremely hard to make. I love making layouts for other people, but when I don't know what someone likes or wants it puts me off making one if the description is too vague.
If you do want a layout, you might have a better chance of getting your request granted if you are specific. Include any pictures you might want, colours, fonts, etc.
It's very annoying making someone a few different layouts and then them not liking any of them. So if you are going to request, please try and be more specific. Because you must have some sort of idea of what you want. It's much easier to make a layout when you know that it is what a user wants.
