I need help finding songs

So one of my best friends birthday's is coming up and I won't be here for it so I wanted to make her a mix cd of songs defining our friendship but I need some help finding good ones. Up beat ones would be nice, but I want each song to have a deeper meaning behind it- Like relating to inside jokes and such.
So I need one that talks about

-cousins, and family.
-flat screen tv's
-late night conversations
-farm animals

Any other ones can just be about friendship or just any good songs.
Can anyone help me out with this dilemma? It'd be appreciated.
