How do you get big on Mibba? Publication? [Plus questions and comment swap]

One thing that's been plaguing me is...how do people get so well known on Mibba? I know there's already a thread for this in the forums, but I felt like asking you guys what you think. Is it their regular updates? Their style or writing? Obviously, becoming Mibba famous requires talent.

Maybe, it's just their degree of activity in the community?

I have no idea.

Another thing I've been wondering is, do slash stories ever get published? I haven't seen any on book shelves, but here on Mibba, along with fanfiction, I feel slash is the most popular.

Have any of ever had anything published?

Also, I'm offering a comment swap. If you read and comment Headstrong, or Gayer Than Edward Cullen if you feel like something shorter, than I will comment on your story too. But only once I get your comment, that's the catch :P
