Deadly Waves

Up here, a breeze brushing my face. The sky so blue, so perfect. Maybe the last sky I see. Looking down at the fall, waves smashing the rocks below. Reminding me of our pain filled lives. A depressing wave crashes into us, bringing us to the rocky shores, another will come again and again. When will we crash into the shores? I take one step closer feeling the fresh air flowing into me.
Closed eyes, tears rolling, the end.
"Don't jump, hold my hand." Amazed by the voice in the silence. No one, not a soul. "Why should I? I want this to end!"
Silence. The wind died and stillness engulfed the skies. The feel of someones faint hand brushes my cheek, wiping the tears away. Putting my hands out to the void, to feel a hand grab mine.
That day, why didn't I jump? To realise I was the one, the one who saved me that day.
