So... a few weeks ago, while I was at camp, someone did something that made my day.
I don't know who it was, so I can't thank them....
But whoever it was, they came into our cabin, and on a post-it note, wrote something short and sweet to everyone in my cabin. They were all different, but they meant a lot.
Mine said You are stunning! You're compassion for others and your love for writing make you a beautiful person, inside and out!
Short? Yes. But someone actually heard me talk about how much I loved writing, or saw me writing, and knew how much I want to make the world a better place.
Someone was listening.
And that meant a lot to me.
So, I was thinking... maybe, today, or some time when you get a chance: Go online, and find someone that you don't know very well. Or even someone that you don't know at all. Find out a little bit about them, take the time to see who they are as a person.
And then, write them something. It doesn't have to be long.
But with any luck, it'll make someone's day a whole lot better.
~With love,
Michaela
