Okay so I have this really amazing friend and we've known each other for a little over a year now. Our relationship has always been kind of wierd from the very start. When we first started hanging out, I had a crush on him. This passed really quickly because soon after we met, I started dating one of his friends. When this happened, me and my friend (lets call him shawn) got close very quickly just as friends. We did everything together. When my boyfriend and I broke up, things changed between me and Shawn. When we hung out alone, he would start flirting with me and stuff. A few weeks later, he told me that he had feelings for me but since i just got out of a relationship, I wanted a break from all of it. I told him that I just really needed him as a friend for now.
That was about a month ago. Two days ago, the two of us were watching a movie together. He started a tickle fight that ended up in us cuddling on the couch. One thing led to another and we ended making out for a loooooooooong time. When I got home that night, i was so confused. I thought that we had moved past that whole crushing on each other phase and that we could finally just remain great friends. And then yesterday, the two of us went out for coffee. It was normal at the start. We just goofed around and hung out like we always did but then, we ended up making out again, this time in his car.
AAAAH. I need help because I don't know what to do. I dont even know if I like him. Even if I do, I'm not supposed to. I'm leaving for college in less then two weeks. I'm only moving about 45 minutes away but I still definitely know that I don't want to be in a relationship for the start of college. But its Shawn. We've been through everything together and us being together for real can be amazing so should I give it a go? But then again, if things get screwed up, I'll probably lose one of my closest friends.
So. Can you guys help me out and give me some ideas?
