When did Mibba become the new Myspace?

So, I kind of stalk the new user section and click on every single new profile. It's been happening for a while but, it seems just fakes or relatively "attractive" scene girls and guys just join this site to:
A. Cause Drama
or.
B. Look Pretty.

I'm not trying to offend anybody, but this is a writing website. I'm pretty sure the point is to post poems, and stories, and share your work with the world. You're not supposed just show yourself off. I know there aren't many guys on this site, but a good percentage of the ones that join are just here for show. All the latest girl who join, are just here to post pictures. When did this website loose it's purpose? The people who do actually write, are mostly all amazing writers, but now this website is just full of people who could care less about it.

It's quite saddening.
