My dream job is to be a stage actress. It's not one of those "Man, it would be cool if it could happen" dreams, either. It's a legitimate career goal, and I will do anything to make it happen.
So, I've been acting in school productions since my freshman year (I'm a junior now), and I've gotten some pretty solid roles. Also, I've been competitively acting in Speech and Debate for a year, and I had some pretty good success, so I have some reason to think that I could have at least moderate success as an professional actress. Even if I never become famous, it;s ok, because in all honesty, this is my life. You know how you have that thing that you just couldn't imagine not doing for the rest of your life?
That's definitely acting for me.
I've been looking at doing some auditions at our local community theater, Desert Stages, (which actually has some bomb ass shows), and starting to look for headshot photographers (which is basically throwing $20 bucks at my Speech coach, who is a professional photographer.) and when I go up to NAU (Northern Arizona University) I'm double majoring in Theatre Performance and English Education.
So that's my dream job, in a nutshell. It's just a dream I'm doing everything to make true.
