Ugh, I feel like a total ickle for asking this; I pride myself on not really caring about Justin Beaver, but I really, really really really have a craving for a fanfic about him for some unknown reason. So do I even have to ask? Just, please recommend?

Okay so off of that subject, this is kinda random, but it's been bugging me lately:
Why the hell do people write fanfics about Severus Snape? Frankly, it just creeps me out when a 16-year-old OC falls in love with him *shudder*. It's not that I have anything against Harry Potter or anything - on the contrary, I'm obsessed - but a fanfic about pettifilia, and with Snape, nonetheless?
