Oh How Irony Loves Me...

I am in a little bit of a mess.

I write on here, I'm taking both English Literature and English Language for A Level, I'm applying to do an English degree at university... and I can't write my personal statement for the life of me!

For those of you who don't know, that is just about the most important part of a British UCAS application (apart from grades) as it is the only opportunity you have on the form to directly address the admissions tutor and sell yourself. It's very important that it's right!

Now, I'm crap at working to word limits anyway, so the 4000 character limit doesn't help, but I honestly cannot write this thing. I've got loads of ideas and stuff, but I can't help feeling it's rambly, badly structured and too lecture-y/boastful.

Oh and this mammoth task of a first draft has to be done by the end of the week because I have to get it perfect by the beginning of October, because I'm applying to Cambridge and making even more work for myself...

Help?

Thank you for reading, I'm slightly less panicky now... Oh who am I kidding? I'm bricking it!

Love and stuffs,

xoxo
