Its not fair.

I believe in God, I am a christian but not you know, fully religious but I occaisonally attend church and read the bible.
This journal is a question which is not intended to offend.
If there is a God, how can this happen?
An older friend of mine, Jeff, lets call him, is in his mid 50's...
Saturday he found out his dad had cancer. Unknown yet whether it can be cured, and last night his mother was in a car crash. She was the passenger. She needed roadside CPR and is on life support in local hospital and no one knows if she will make it through.
Jeff believes in God. I do too. But I think to myself, how can this happen, how could God let this happen, to one soul man in the space of 3 days... How?
Its cruel and unfair.
If there is a God up there, which I so badly want to believe there is but can't help doubt, how did you let this happen and why?
